For testing damping control strategies and prototype control implemented in real vehicle prototype instalation of whole control system was built. The test vehicle was Opel Astra with CDC dampers controlled by author’s prototype damper controller implemented on dSpace controller prototype platform. The dampers where typical CDC dampers used in this car model with IDS suspension system, but the whole control and measurement system was autonomic and configured by the author for the necessary tests.
