My research activities cover the following areas:
VEHICLE CONTROLLED SUSPENSIONS (main area):
- computer simulation of controlled suspensions and their influence on vehicle dynamics,
- semiactive suspension - control algorithms - analysis and development,
- experimental testing of suspension vertical dynamics,
- design goals - comfort and safety,
- integrated chassis controls,
DYNAMICS OF DRIVELINE OF CAR EQUIPPED WITH AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:
- road tests of road loads of drivline with automatic transmission,
- test bench simulation reproducing road loads of driveline (test bench control algorithm development and testing)
- computer simulation of dynamics of driveline working in a car and on a test bench,
EXPERIMENTAL TESTS AND SIMULATION TESTS OF VEHICLE DYNAMICS:
- experimental test methods (test methodology and measurement methods),
- masurement data processing,
- using Matlab/Simulink for vehicle dynamics testing (off line simulation and real-time simulation using Hardware in the Loop Simulation (HILS))
VEHICLE DYNAMICS CONTROL SYSTEMS:
- simulation tests of basic control algorithms of vehicle dynamics controlling,
- test bench tests of some vehicle dynamics control systems using HIL simulation
