FUNDAMENTALS OF VEHICLE DYNAMICS

• theoretical description,
• simulation tests and research (using Matlab, Simulink, ADAMS/Car, V-Sim),
• experimental tests of vehicle dynamics.

Motor vehicles systems and components design

• functional requirements,
• systems and components design and functioning.

Control systems of vehicle dynamics

• active safety systems  (ABS, TCS, ESP, etc.)
• semi-active suspensions,
• automatic transmission,
• development, model ling and testing (Rapid Controls Prototyping and Hardware in the Loop).

Experimental tests of vehicle dynamics

• tests on roads, proving grounds and test benches,
• measurements technology,
• measurement data processing.

Simulation tests of vehicle dynamics

• basic models of vehicle Dynamics,,
• computer tools for vehicle dynamics simulation -  Matlab, Simulink, ADAMS/Car, V-Sim),
• comparisons of experimental and simulation tests.

Intelligent Transportation Systems

• technology for  ITS,
• functional requirements for ITS applications
